Aspire Upholstery is a privately owned business offering the complete range of upholstery services.

Based in Inverclyde, and also covering the whole of the West of Scotland, Aspire Upholstery services the needs of both domestic and commercial customers.

The company was established in May 2008 and has quickly gained a reputation for high quality work, with an attention to detail rarely found in today’s mass produced furniture. The owner, Willie Mcghie, worked for Reid Furniture Ltd for twenty five years, latterly as head of Product Design and Development before launching his own business in May 2008.

“I recognised a gap in the market for an upholstery company that could offer a full range of services. Many of our competitors will only recover furniture but we can design, build and modify all types of upholstered furniture to suit each customer’s particular tastes and budget.”

Our strength lies with our people. With a combined experience in excess of 150 years, gained in all the relevant furniture trades such as, frame making, cutting, sewing and upholstery we have the people, the skills and the experience to tackle all forms of upholstery work.
